The most common technique we use to fish for tuna is drifting. Once a strategically fishing spot has been reached, the main goal of drifting is to cover the chosen area and to do so we take into consideration wind and currents. While drifting we try to attract as much fish as possible along the trail with fish chum, generally consisting of sardines.

Tunana fishing charter is the holder of the sport tuna fishing license. The license is valid for catch and release.
We’re currently working with the government and various organizations in order to optimize the bluefin tuna sustainability fishing program. We’ll notify you when our charter gets the approved touristic tuna fishing quota and what the applications for such a licence will be.
